After Charlie got up from his nap, and before we had dinner,
I took the kids outside to get some fresh air.
I pushed Charlie in his little car/bike/thingy
and Claire rode on her 'tooter scooter'
(which is a term coined from 'Wow Wow Wubbzy')
I watched her as she rode along and it just struck me how old she's getting.
She's turning 4 soon and all signs of a baby have disappeared.
I know I'm not supposed to get sentimental until her actual birthday
but my little pookey baby is no long a baby.
... sigh ...
she really is becoming a Big Girl.
don't get me wrong - I love it
but I also miss this
(although, the fact that she's potty trained now is a pretty sweet deal)

So, so, so fast. :( My baby boy turns 7 on Sunday. Just thinking about it makes me teary. That picture of little Claire is beautiful. Enjoy her almost-four-ness!
She is so adorably cute! It's weird how some days it just hits you, "they're growing up". :( I always love your pictures of your little kiddies. They have such meaning in them. Congrats on your loving family R! :)
Claire is beautiful. The future holds so much for mother/daughter moments...good times and challenging times, but they are oh, so worth it. And I love the two bottom teeth pictures, the cutest!
I hear you... it really does go by way to fast. Just wait til your youngest is close to 4 (cue the tears) it is HARD!
She was the cutest little peanut ever when she was a baby Rachel and is just as sweet now but in an older kinda way. Makes us mamas a little sad sometimes!!
it's the story of my life lately. i'd push *freeze* every once in awhile if I could. tooter scooter. haha
My oldest is going to be a freshman in highschool!! AHHH!! It does hit you harder on certain days and you wonder how the days flew by so quickly...your babies are beautiful!!

Love this post. I remember similar moments with my girls, realizing that the baby in them is gone. Good times to come, however. Four might just be my favorite age.
