Feeling the LOVE

We're back for a quick pit stop to dump our 'goods'
and get ready for the next adventure.

I still love Seoul.
I love it so, sooo much.

but my love and excitement for this city
got the best of me.

As we entered into Insadong a Buddhist Monk
approached us and in very broken english
kept saying,
'for peace... for peace'

he handed us this little gold/red trinket and said
'for peace'
again, as he placed it in our hands.

how fun is that?

and then he wanted us to sign his tablet.
so I followed the lead of the previous 'signers'
and put my name, my country and under 'reason' wrote
PEACE

while I was signing, he put an amber colored
beaded bracelet on my wrist.

and then he told me I owed him $20.

nice.

so  I did only thing possible and turned it into a photo op.

by the way ... it was his idea to do the hand thing.

... now it's time to hit the subway &  find some lunch ...

Love it! I think the picture was worth $20.00! My husband can tell when I am reading your blog because I am laughing so hard. I hope you continue to have a wonderful time in Seoul. I will be thinking about you and Charlie tomorrow. Can't wait to see pictures!

You look awesome! Love the haircut! You handled that guy WAY better than I would have. When a guy in Italy tried to do something similar I body slammed him with my eyes. . . you know I gave him that really dirty teacher look that says, "Oh no you didn't!".

I agree with Lindsay. The picture is worth $20. =)
